| They say the third time's a charm; I'm finally done making all the studio upgrades humanly possible and now it's time to get to work. I came up with the title for this one during one of my many rides to work; what is the best way I could introduce my newest work and my new style of producing to everyone?
The breaks in the title tune came to me a lot faster than normal; I was definitely inspired by that song "Staring at a Broken Booth with a Telephone in my Hand" on this one; I wanted to create a sleepy eyed tune, something you'd put on in the morning to get your day started.
Ars Angelica is one of my more majestic sounding tunes; sweeping pads, horns that sound like they came from heaven above but as soon as the strings drop out, it's coming right back at you 5 times harder-- sure to shock the dancefloor. Black Tugboat is another favorite; I like to mix this one with a harder tune as it tends to give me a lot to play with.
Gearsmasher is a tune like no other that I've done; I purposely spaced out the breakdowns so it gives the crowd a chance to breathe and take the song in as a whole. The Juno 106 had a big role in this one. Timeblind is pure party time fun; let those horns get you in the dancing mood.
Wunderkind is my new sound and I hope you enjoy this as much as I did making it.
